My Rolex journey began with Explorer I, I am the second owner of this particular Explorer I. My impression is that it’s small and suitable for me. Rolex simplicity at its best.

Then I realised I can’t live without bezel, therefore so I traded in Exp for 2001 Submariner. Again just like the Explorer it’s the really simple in design and it serves its purpose as dive watch very well. I really love the clean dial design and of cause the bezel which like I told some you, it makes the watch more purposeful. Another thing to note is the case is considered thin when you compared other watches that had the same WR rating which usually are super-duper thick and fat. For example MM300 (nothing in against this watch, I just taking it as an example)

As I am about to stop collecting (for time being as I focus on other matter) watches I got into this. My usual dealer gave me good deal when I wanted to trade in my Submariner as compensation as he (actually his worker) had stuff up some paperwork for my Submariner which made me call him all the way from KL complaining to him about it. He literally take in my Sub at 90% of the price I paid for my Sub and I just need to top up abit cash to get hold of this.

Actually this is the watch I am after all the while. It’s a F series SD My first impression is that the watch packed a punch while it is still wearable for almost everyone (that is if u can find ways to take out the permanent links which I did). Not like many watches these days that are much more thicker than this but functionally does not come close to this. It maybe thick for some but I am used to this as my previous watches are quite thick. All I can say is I like this watch very much and this is for sure going to be in my collection for many years to come.
With this I could truly tell myself that I can stop collecting for the time being while I focus on something else more important. For sure, its one hell of a journey I being tru and I enjoyed it every second.
