Is TITAN Automatic Watches worth buying?

Hi All,

Found this forum when i look for infomation about watches.
I wanted to buy an automatic watch with a thin budget,
recently i came across a brand from india name TITAN,
thier automatic watches are cheap compare to swiss made watches,
anybody is wearing one? check out the website below,

1st watch in the catalog ask for RM1000 after discount,
6th watch ask for RM532. ( time square in KL )

Is it worth buying? i need advice.

From the picture it look good But really not too sure about its quality... Have you try on the real piece before? If it fit well on your wrist and it is not too expensive, i guess it's worth venture into this new brand 

Of course, like Terrence suggested, if you wanted a reliable watch within budget (which proven and long exist in the market), SEIKO/Citizen will be another recommended for your consideration

from the photo.... it look china made cheaply copied and mix match design watch for me....
forget about it...
listen to the sifu.... at that kind of price....

if u want automatic...
seiko.... all kind of design, divers, pilot, dress, military.... sure u can get 1 u like...
citizen just launched their automatic line watches...maybe something attractive there...

add little $$$
u can get a very long history swiss made tissot, mido, little more $$ u can get oris, tag, ball...

You can get a very good Seiko for 1k. Sorry to say this but Titan is simply not the type of watch that you want to spend your money on.

hi,

scott and yee are right, at ur budget you actually can try to consider seiko for their automatic, however citizen are famous with their eco drive (it means solar powered). their price range is very compatitive.

Watch selection is very personal...(i might like the design but not u), therefore i would recommend you to choose the watch that fitted to your outfit and wrist and that's the one..

Thank you for all the opinions, i will reconsider.
i had 2 old seiko watches, my grandpa and uncle gave to me,
1 battery and 1 automatic. but both are not working, need to repair.

Like all the other members above. If I have 1K budget for a new automatic watch. I'll go for the Seiko 5 or Orient automatic.
