« on: February 24, 2012, 06:00:34 AM »
received and update from watch blog about damasko new DA44 was up to 44mm case with 1000m WR
not sure it is true... but so far not updated in Damasko official side

is that a good news for u?

some big watch lovers.... LIKE MYSELF
dont need the chrono, but love damasko alot.... much more than sinn.... so got to settle with a dc67....
bcoz non chrono range all use 40mm case...

even the dc66 / 67 use 42mm case only

so this da44 black pvd ice hardened 44mm damasko without chrono.... will ease my miss on the u1

I know one blog that reported 44mm and subsequently changed it to 42mm. However other sites that copy and paste from this site did not update their posting.

Must be...

But still 42mm meaning also up size from

40mm case on 41.8mm bezel

To

42mm case on 43.8mm bezel ( chrono case size )

Which sound logic, no need new machinery, just use the chrono case...
- no need to drill for chrono pusher
- cut less for a smaller 2836 movement or make a ring to fit
It...

Then case back, strap, bezel insert, bezel... All same size, less additional cost incur
