Watches with a textured or guilloche dial
« on: October 14, 2011, 02:40:47 PM »
Can anyone recommend any nice watches with textured or guilloche dials? I think breguet has them but they are out of my league. If I'm not wrong, the Rolex precision has a textured dial, 6494 and 6694 I believe.

I think these dials look really pleasing to the eye. Would like to add one to my collection at some point just to admire the beauty and craftsmanship.

Have you considered the Swatch Automatic Heracles? And no I am not joking.  :)

That is really not too bad. However, I really don't like the "swatch" all over the bezel. Otherwise, it really doesn't look too bad. Blue hands, guilloche dial, Roman numerals..

Have a few in the for sale section. The novelty of the guilloche dial will wear off pretty soon.

For what its worth, I think Brequet makes one of the most beautiful guilloche dials on their watches ever, not to mention their 3D beautiful smiling moonphase…
and btw G.MAC is right...

Personal taste and preferences evolve over years, hopefully not 1 full circle otherwise it means we haven't learnt a single thing.
