Boutique(authorize dealer) or gray dealer for a genuine new watch?

When purchasing new watch, would you purchase from boutique or gray dealer? Why? What is the benefits other than price different?

So far, i purchased all of my watches from ADs (Malaysia and abroad).....nothing wrong buying from reputable grey dealers-just personal preference buying from ADs
