Scott/ Chris,

Yeah basically we had ice cream or something like it everyday. The funny part is that every restaurant we went, they serve ice cold water. Cannot figure that one out.

Anyway, reasons to go to Sapporo, the German Christmas Market (because Sapporo twin city Munich) and lighting up of Odori park.

The fish market. Interesting place to visit.

Hard at work.

Found this standing sushi bar. Can only seat or stand 6 people. Great and fresh sushi.

The master at work.

View of Odori Park.

Yeah, the Japanese do not believe in the Yin and Yang of food. So tea and water is always served cold and nothing beats ice cold Japanese beer for me  like drinking liquid ice

Hello Mr Hobbit,
Very nice pictures of Sapporo - the people, food, environment etc.
As for the eating cold ice cream in cold weather, I believe the cream will make one's body warm. I love eating ice cream when it rains in Malaysia.
Thanks for sharing.
