Ennebi Fondale owners in D'House ?
« on: December 05, 2011, 11:04:12 PM »
Saw a few references of Ennebi watches on the web and my first impression was WOW... How come haven't heard much about this brand...would like to hear from MWF ennebi owners (if any) to chip in and maybe give their takes on the brand built and quality..

Have done few meetings with "uncle Google" and found out that the owner is Panerai previous Drawing Sector Manager ( Luciano Nincheri) who happens to be the one incharged of presenting

"Panerai watch model the "Egiziano" to the commercial manager of BINDA, a company in Milan, who then was interest to have a collaboration. Yet, panerai director refused this offer because he did not want to have a commercial relationship at the same level, but to maintain a leadership position. Moreover, in that period Officine Panerai had many orders from the Italian Navy and so they could not allow workers to waste energies for other activities. I kept on insisting till the company decided to plan and build a new watch to present to the attack diver unit of the Italian Navy. The purpose was to make an up-to-date instrument after several years of inactivity in the watch-making sector.

It was decided to maintain the lever closure on the recharging crown as a testimony of the company tradition and as attitude of continuity, although it was not needed from a technical point of view. The watchcase was totally made of titanium, with a luminous face and a synthetic sapphire glass. It had a mechanic movement with automatic recharge and a visible second hand to allow one to look at the watch in operation. " ( Also pinjam from G****n website)

Make story short Ennebi Dna = Panerai Dna in a way..Yet not as popular as the latter. Anyway, here's a few images which I 'pinjam' from the net.

You guys see the resemblance with the famous PAM?
