  I like!!

Ball is one of my favorite brands- to me the price/value is good for a swiss brand and I like the tritium tubes.

Does this mean that the 24 hour hand is practically useless feature on 2893 as it stick to whatever time u have set?

not practically useless but less useful compared to GMT II or Seiko GMT watches. unless someone can show me a useful usecase with 2893 i am not convinced.

with Rolex or Grand Seiko GMT You can adjust the 12-hour hand back and fro when you pull the crown to the 1st position. While for an unmodified ETA, you can only adjust the 12-hour hand fwd and turning the crown backward will fwd the date. Pulling the crown to 2nd position, turning the crown will forward the minute hand, follow by 12-hour hand then 24-hour hand and finally the date. This is same for both watches. As a result, it is harder to adjust time at different time zone with ETA which you can only adjust the hour hand fwd.
