My Seikos
« on: January 11, 2013, 06:09:33 AM »
My small Seiko collection. Had more but sold lots away. Nothing really to shout about...

My first Seiko. I am sure many of us have or had this before.

Same with this one, the orange monster...

Or this, the black  monster...

The Seiko Stargate. I like this watch.

Seiko 130th Anniversary watch. Closest I can get to the traffic light sweep seconds hands on the cheap. Thanks Seiko.

Well, it has Seikosha on the dial but as to its origin.....

Nice pics Hobbs.
That last one seem to get alot of attention. hehehe
More info?
The monsters are in my opinion, standard issue... EVERYONE should have one.

yup like the last one too...
if u r selling... let me know...
unfortunately most Seikos (except GS) tend to be quite small as in 36-38mm..
my wide wrists cant take anything smaller than 42-44 esp for casual sporty watches..

Don't really know much about the last one. It was issued in 2006/2007? Limited run. There were 2 models, the more traditional layout was quartz, while this one is mechanical. The movement is from SII, but the general believe is that the watches were not issued by Seiko.

The watch is a homage/ reissue of the watch Seikosha issued to the Japanese kamikaze pilots in WWII.

btw tried to locate the 130th Ann but cant find it in Malaysia...
the red shroud makes it very striking...
The regular version is very bland with a black shroud....

130th Ann?? r u sure its the red shrouded Limited version?

I saw lots of black ones which are not the Limited Edition..
actually Limited or not doesn't bother me but I love the color combi of red/black..
Well will drop again if I have the time..
