"Speedy Tuesday" was first coined by Robert-Jan of Fratello in 2012, then supported by Omega as a fan-favourite watch by celebrating the 5th anniversary of #speedytuesday with the release of the legendary ST1 (in 2017) and later ST2 (aka "Ultraman" in 2018). Each ST1 and ST2 were produced as a limited edition of just 2,012 pcs globally. Sold exclusively online via Omega's website, the first watch to ever be offered as a digital experience, and completely sold out after just 4 hours and 15 minutes.
The ST1 has a "reverse panda" colourway, with a vintage style applied logo and radial subdials which are inspired by the Alaska Project III from late 1970s. Hardcore speedy enthusiasts will also note the brushed case and lugs, similar in concept to the Alaska Project II prototype (vs the typical polished
and brushed surfaces on the regular Speedmaster).
This watch is sold as a complete set, with the original leather strap worn just several times and the NATO unused. It will also include the strap changing tool and polishing cloth (both of which are still brand new). Pictured with the watch is a vintage style 1171 bracelet with 633 endlinks, and is
not included with this sale. The original leather strap is lightly used and the NATO is still brand new. The bracelet changing tool and polishing cloth are both unused.
Given the watch is nearly 10 years old, it has recently had a full service (Aug 2025) -- which will give you a complete peace of mind.
