Why is there not many JLC Reverso for sale?

Hi members,

Since I've been looking locally for a used Reverso for quite some time, I don't see many used ones available for sale. (bar Chrono24)

Why is this the case?

Is it just not popular or people love to hold them? What do you think?

I would think both are the reasons.

But one third is that JLC Reverso just not popular, and two third because people just love it too much that cannot bear to part with it.

ill give you my 3 reasons.

1) The price is literally entry level *except for gyros, leading to point 2
2) JLC watches dont hold their value and depreciate faster than most brands, so most would rather hold.
3) You're not looking hard enough. I can find at least 5 on sale within Malaysia itself right now.

noone needs to quote me. the above are my 3 reasons. rest have others.

I think it is due to the fact that JLC buyers are real watch enthusiasts and collectors that know how to appreciate a fine watch made by a great company deep in horology. Therefore the Reverso which tends to be a classic does not get flipped and remains permanently in the collection for many.

Few preown shops in Malaysia and Singapore that I have been to. Zero Reverso stock even till now.

The only preown shop that did have stock was taken by me when it put up for sale within 2 days time.
