Leaving your watch idle for long period of time?
« on: January 26, 2017, 03:17:36 PM »
I got a question ..  I got a few automatic watches. Some I dun wear for extended period of time. So wondering is it like cars whereby if we don't periodically take it out for a spin the mechanism will deteriorate? Or it is necessary to exercise it regularly .. Coz I dun own a winder ..so just curious

Watch meant to be worn, so its best if u can wind them periodically so that the gears & oil will not stiffen. Plus be careful due to humidity, since its the oil's enemy. Store ur watch at controlled surrounding so that u can prolonged the maintenance period. Hope this helpful.

Suggest to place it into auto winder, this would help to balance the oil and gear for good.

Try time square, price range 300 and above.
