Seiko 5 would be a natural and no-brainer choice. It literally ticks perpetually, needs no special servicing, could take any kind of punishment, and you could probably use it to throw at someone during an emergency situation. Try doing that with your Submariner (okay, so the Sub costs more than the pre-set budget)
