here's something u won't see too often - rolex 17014
« on: January 07, 2015, 08:01:49 PM »
picked this up from dtwatches for a steal a while back
it came RSC serviced, which alone would cost close to 1k usd
we like accurate watches ya??

its got a very 'deep dial': high raised baton markers..inky blackness...

size comparison

did i mentioned i dig integrated bracelets..?

it doesn't actually 'tick'..more like a 'schick'..and hits every marker square on

with another favorite

wrist shots

such a lovely movement

What movement is that? Is that a bartery there? Comes original with see through back? Never seen a see through back on a rolex before. Great piece btw. Very unique.

thats the oysterquartz rolex..a quartz watch.

i dont think thats a see through backcase.probably the OP removed the backcase to show the nice movement inside. ;)

Nice! Don't see many quartz Rolex in forums. Does RSC still service the watch if it's modified with a see-thru back? I suppose they will not give warranty on WR even if they do service.

Generally, RSC will refuse to carry out servicing on modified watches, unless the 'offending' parts is replaced by them with a correct part.

What they'll do is, they will replace & charge you for the correct caseback and send the see through one back to you.

If you refuse to accept, then they refuse to service.

This is what my friend experienced in the past.
