when i was first looking for a watch with a power reserve indicator, this was one of those that i was aiming for. Simple and affordable watch with the added feature of a power reserve indicator. But i never seem to find them around so the enthusiasm die out after a while. Still..nice watch you got there..keep your collection coming.

The stainless steel version without the 60th Ann on the dial is still available on order from Japan..if I'm not wrong I've also seen it for sale in KL...
Personal taste and preferences evolve over years, hopefully not 1 full circle otherwise it means we haven't learnt a single thing.

Good morning fellow MWF members

Like to share this piece that I got it in Bangkok.

My favourite quartz

Another 60th Anniversary from Orient.

Ever since Orient's new President there are lots of limited edition and constant model push out.

I have heard some comments from the local dealers that Orient watch is gaining popularity and in terms of quality has lesser complain compare to the non Japan made Seiko.

But in Japan Orient still represent a small corner at the display as compare to the big brother Seiko.

I think Seiko now has tune towards high end model like GS, Ananta, Spring drive model which are not common here.

For the new watch entrant my suggestion is to get an Orient Japan made as compare to Seiko non Japan made.
