Dear MWF's user,
Whilst I have interest in wrist-watches, I am not quite an expert when it comes to movements etc.
Assuming if I have 4 to 5 automatic watches, and do not have a watch winder. At some point of time a few pieces out of those 5 will somehow stop running (when they run out of power due to lack of vibration/ movement etc) - and will start moving the next time I wear it.
The question is, will there be any adverse effects on these automatic watches if they
often stop and start running again on an irregular basis - as and when I decide to wear that selected watch. Obviously each time before I start wearing, I would have to adjust the time accordingly.
For example, if I only wear watch ABC on every Monday and Thursday - for each Monday and Thursday, watch ABC
may have stopped (presumably on late Wednesday and Sunday), because 2 days or more have lapsed, and would start moving again on the subsequent Monday or Thursday. The foregoing is just an example, the point is would there be any adverse effects/ damage etc to the watch?
Many thanks.
