Uniform Wares
« on: December 28, 2012, 07:17:52 AM »
Hey guys. I am new here and currently at a road block. I am wondering if there are any retailers in Malaysia that sells Uniform Wares watches. I am looking for the 203 Series (look it up, it's pretty sexy). They do sell their watches online and they have an office in London (which I will need to go to if all else fails) but I am not sure if they sell it OTR.

Any help would be tremendously appreciated.

never heard of the brand but googled the watch...
minimalist lugless watch?
For awhile i thought it looked very familiar...
Then i googled mondaine... but something was missing
Then i remembered... it resembles the Xetum watch that always appear in the banner advertisement in another watch forum.

Just found out that they added Malaysia to their new shipping list for 2013. However, not gonna risk it for logistics purposes. I went through their international retailers. Nearest is Singapore but heading to London in July, so probably best to wait till I get it from London. It's a Brit brand anyway.

But yeah, I find it appealing. Simple...yet, full blown. Lotsa personality.

Also, I'm a huge fan of Mondaine. Not really into Xetum though.

Nice watches, the outstanding feature would be the dial colour.
Buying it online would be a lot cheaper as you dont have to pay a 20% VAT.
Shipping is usually safe as long as its shipped through a reputable courier like DHL or Fedex.
And goods are usually insured so if anything happens in transit you'll get a refund.

I especially like the dial. No fonts and clean. Very balanced, very proportionate.
