i like variety in my collection and i've been working towards achieving it. After 2 consolidation exercises, i've narrowed to the pieces that will put a smile on my face whenever i see them in my watch box.
My criteria is simple:
1. Automatic movement - don't like manual winding
2. Must have date
3. Must have lume so that i can tell time at night
4. Watch must have a rich history (i like to think that i own a part of history)
5. Minimum 40mm
6. Must have quick-set date function
7. 1 watch per brand, limited to max 15 watches (no 2 watches of same brand allowed). Owned 12 watches now so i can only buy 2-3 more watches for some of the categories listed below and forget about the others. It all depends on pocket, mood, impulse, sales promotion and stock availability.
Dress watch (stainless steel):
Cartier Santos 100 Chrono XL
Breguet Transatlantique XXI
Dress watch (gold - YG/RG):

still can't find any RG dress watch that has both lume and date plus not a brand that i've already owned.
