Hi and afternoon to all.
First of all, wishing to those who celebrate Selamat Hari Raya and Happy Merdeka.
I am new to this forum, although has been following for awhile, avid reader for short. My watch collection hobby just only received a kick start early this year, so pardon my limited horologic knowledge.
So, on this good afternoon (albeit rainy season now), i am keen to share, my new addition,
Steinhart Marine Chronometer II RomanI think the watch needs no introduction, has been around for awhile now.
Here are some specs which i gather from internet;
Movement: Swiss Unitas 6498 mechanical movement
Dial: White with Roman numbers and markers
Case: Satin brushed stainless steel. Polished bezel.
Water resistance: 30m
Dimensions: 44mm in diameter, 52mm lug to lug, 14.2mm thick
Power Reserve: ~42 hours
To cut all the chase, i am gonna share my happy mood.

Item came in a nice box, and well padded too.
The watchbox made of high quality PVC (i think). If you notice theres another thick padding inside the box, and sitting in the center is the item with engraved number can be seen

Strap is thick, leather, and with buckle clasp, made in high quality

Case back exhibit the reliable Unitas 6498 movement, although i would prefer for it to be more decorated. Cant complaint at this price range. The built is exquisite indeed.

Of course the compulsory wrist shot. I love the blue hands the most. Sort of giving high end looks to it

I have another Aviator watch with Poljot movement, which is also hand wound, and has been keeping good time as well.
I have limited myself to 3 watches max, and so now the big question is: What's next?

Perhaps a diver. Time will tell.
Regards.
