thank you boys and girls. wow! usually ppl dun like these plain & simple watches so i also never ever show them. Many times I wanted to sell it but I simply love the blue hands, so in the end kept it.
The GP Today edition has a few designs and actually based on the Vintage 1945 series. The Today edition started in 2005 and mine is of that year. I think every year they will come out with new designs. Some got art designs, some with cherry blossoms, etc. Usually limited to 30 or 50 pieces. I am lucky to get one 50/50. The size of the case is King Size and it wears very well on the wrist due to the curve case. It is also highly polished to a shine. The size is good and large enough for me. But I think this watch is not everyone's cup of tea.
In year 2006 the Today Butterfly edition were made available exclusively thru Sincere outlets only. Only 20 pieces for each of this three design available.

another shot of those lovely blue hands -

Some other designs i found on the Net-

Thanks.

It's strange that you mentioned "enamel dial". What make you think that?

I've seen alot of LE white dial watches which used enamel technique to produce the dial.
Since yours has a wide area with just white i think if its enamel dial would look that much more better.
Off course cant really tell from pics so was wondering.

Now that GS is awesome mrYong
Is it available here in Malaysia ?

There is a shop in Sunway Pyramid that sells Seiko GS and Spring Drive. "Emotus" I think it's called. But choices are limited. The Spring Drive is a real handsome watch.

The shop at Sunway Pyramid name;- Moments (not Emotus). Just went there last Sunday. Cheapest Grand Seiko display - around RM14k.
Shop situated at the new wing - near the escalator.

Just checked out the Longiness - Legend diver with DATE at Wata Time. Take around RM5k plus after discount.

Enjoy. DC
I am almost a recovered watchaholic, but last checked shows only 70% recovered. How?
