Hi all,
After my recent purchase of DeBethune Titan Hawk (DB27), it's triggered my interest in indie brands. As i was doing my research, i chanced upon Habring2. I was sold on their concept of "affordability and exclusivity". They produce 12-15 watches for each model every year (150-200 pieces annually). Yes, it's very competitively priced compared to other indie brands that cost an arm/leg.
This is their pilot range. It's thick but weighs light on my puny wrist. Design is simple, utilitarian and robust for casual wear. 42mm, black dial paired with honey caramel coloured leather strap with heavily modified movement (added a bidirectional winding system on an ETA train). Finishing is ok from my point of view. Packaging is simple - wooden box with compartments containing spare parts for next servicing. Warranty valid for 3 years.
Thanks for sharing my joy.
Cheers
James
