Be caution, replica for BR model is just amazing. The best way is being up to AD or boutique to comfirm

Thanks V....

It seem like this is the only resort. I have seek a few forum for help watchuseek and other BR related forum. It seem not a significant guideline to differentiate a fake vs a genuine.   ::)

Thanks all for your respond. Yesterday me and the seller went to Ha** Th*i Watch at Tropicana city mall for verification. It is confirm that watch is genuine. So we have close the deal.

But Ha** Th*i Watch reject the watch due to a dents near the strap area. Since it is a DLC, it is not repairable. They are quite particular on the outlook.

Thanks :)

I had a BR01-97; and IIRC, BR servicing was done at FJ Benjamin, KH Tower. Logically, verification should be done there too as they are the promoter for BR in Malaysia. But it's your decision anyhow. BR are handsome watches; but the concern about buying pre-owned pieces (and especially when not in full boxed set) were that the replica BR pieces were really good. The pirates could try to clone Rolex and Omega pieces, but there were still tell-tale signs externally, and especially after we remove the casebacks. Since BR utilises standard ETA movements, high-grade clones could do the same easily. So when it comes to BR, best to do actual verification at the service centre.

For instance, look at the engraving on this BR03-92 Heritage PVD- looks nice and smooth, right? Well, it's a replica as found on the Net. That's how good BR pirates are these days.

Thanks Andy for your respond. Agree, the safer bet is still sent to FJ Benjamin for verification. Hopefully the Hi** Th** is competence enuf. Because of buying this watch, I spent some time to learn how to spot a fake. Based on your pix below the sign of fake is strong coz:-

-The screw at the back should be an embossed. Not sink in version
-The screw should be below the "u" letter for BR03 version.
-the PVD shouldn't be too shiny. It should be like matte black version.
