well another case of being in Frankfurt again and nothing else to do. Weather is nice so begins my annual pilgrimage to the temple of Sinn.
Not much photos this time same ol' display table but with some new Basel models.
The 104 SaSt is always a very good bargain watch. A very nicely put up design with a useful captive bezel. I always recommend this for anyone looking for a sub 3k watch. Selitta equipped and Sinn have rightfully placed it in the correct price bracket unlike some other brands who uses the same calibre *cough*IWC*cough*Linde*cough. Pardon me.
So which one do u guys prefer? Last year's offering of indices or this year's Arabic?

Also another Basel release, the 240. The orange hand sweeping against the matte black dial is quite mesmerizing. Contrast of colours in watches always looks attractive to me. Again, a Selitta equipped watch and priced as so. A winner in my books but still no lemania 140.

Lately, the Lemania 140 has got my loins churning again, just like reminiscing an old girlfriend. Never picked it up and fiddle with it on all my visits there since it was changed to a DD piggy back model until this new iteration. House modified 7750 as I understand. The jumping minute vs slow creep minute hands of most chronograph impressed me. Just the price tag is more than what I would pay for a Sinn. Looks like the hunt for a 140 or Tutima Commando continues.

Think these might be the last few batches of ETA 2824 for the 3 handed date Sinn models. Always a nice pickup for your family. Might get one for dad the next time I visit. Legible and elegant.

So the rest are mostly the same unless u like some of the behemoath EZMs in their offerings. So nothing new. The local German catalog is still as impressive as ever. Puts those major brands to shame.
