Nothing wrong with buying new. If no one does it, where do we get the pre-owned??

 :Laughing_on_floor:

And nothing wrong with buying pre-owned if you've done your homework or have good friends to give advice.

Not against Tissot in particular,

But Tissot imo is too "generic", brand wise
2 handful of Stowas, 4 Makara and 4 HMT...

Thanks for your suggestion but for me rolex and omega only for old people. Haha. I'm just 20yo. With steel bracelet i dont think it will suits me. I want more stylish and suitable for young people. Thanks for your suggestion anyway.

Omega and Rolex are the safest bets for resale and brand prestige. For a 10k budget it's hard to find a good rolex, even preowned. The most you can get is probably an Explorer One or a really old Datejust. I wouldn't recommend it lar, not syiok.

For 10k, preowned Omegas are a steal. You can get a preowned Bond Seamaster for 7-8k and a Planet Ocean for about 9-12k (Depending 2500 or 8500, bracelet or rubber).

Why would you say Rolex/Omega is uncle? It's more like for people who understand the history of watches and appreciates in-house movement/COSC watches. Compared to paying alot of $$$ for an ETA Tag, it's a total shame IMO.

If you guy have any suggestion on other watch so that i can have a look? New or pre-owned is okay as long as it it below 10k. Cheaper is better as long as it is my first swiss made watch, no need to be more expensive . Thanks in advance

You may wish to consider the Terrascope. I heard there was a price increase since I bought mine but it should still be well within your (not small) budget..... :thumbsup:

Please post some pics after your purchase.... :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

HAGWE!!!!!

Why limited to "swiss made" watches? :Startled:

Please look at German, Japanese as well...
For  your information, what does a "Swiss Made" means....

A watch is considered to be Swiss if:

its movement is Swiss;
its movement is cased up in Switzerland;
and the manufacturer carries out the final inspection in Switzerland.

A movement is considered to be Swiss if

it has been assembled in Switzerland;
it has been inspected by the manufacturer in Switzerland; and
the components of Swiss manufacture account for at least 60 percent of the total value, without taking into account the cost of assembly. (previously was 51%)

(source of the above info is from The Federation of the Swiss Watch Industry FH)

Read more from Ariel Adams...a long article not for those TLDR

ok...if you think that way then Swatch is the one for you and you get to save a lot $$ and could buy dozen different more if you're tired of ur current one.
