Reporting some recent sightings and testing in boutiques..

Dial is very legible especially with the red hands on seconds and power reserves... not bad at all.

Despite being a stainless steel, it is still not a cheap watch. The price difference between this and the gold case might send you and your family off to a nice holiday or another IWC entry level watch. The point I'm trying to make is that, if I'm prepared to pour in this sort of money, I'd go a bit more further to get a more noble watch. Still it's a nice addition to the range. Limited to 500 (not-numbered).

The new Laures 2014 is the Portuguese Classic Chronograph

I think this will sell well. However, I still have reservation about the 89xxx calibre. The damn flyback function doesn't always set to 0 (sometimes 59 or 01 sec position randomly), but not really a deal breaker if you're not too fussy. Also, this is a better option of those with smaller wrist like mine (last year was Portuguese Yacht Club, which is rather large).
Limited to 1000 owners who will help those children.

Also the rubber coated Portuguese Yacht Club...

Feels weird, doesn't quite works for me, I'm not a fan of rubber coated things... Limited to 500 (I think)

Lastly, a hybrid of Carbon and Ceramic Performance Inge, in green accent...

The ceramic bezel does improve the looks overall with the mixed materials. Alas, to big for my wrist. Surprisingly. I find this more attractive than most of the watches in the boutique. If only the price is right... Limited to 1000

Moving on, I was trying to get a glimpse of the SIHH for Montblanc watches (they have some pretty cool stuff this year like the Stainless Steel PPC) but unfortunately, the touring collection has already been returned to Switzerland. Nonetheless I get to see the newer interpretation of Nicholas Rieussec in Platinum, and thus far, the best looking dial to date...

Pricetag: 5x more than their standard issue  :o. Still, I'm crazy about blue on silver dial..

My wife also had a chance to try out the ladies collection with mother of pearl dials. I must say, they look pretty good and good value for money as well...

Overall, I like where montblanc is going with their timepiece. At this rate, in a couple of years, they'll be a force to reckon with

Their 90th Anniversary of Meisterstuck Pen... lovely monotone nib on a 149!Seriously considering this one

;D With that precious few slot left, I can't afford to be impulsive and certainly not the above mentioned pieces...
