Title: Rolex Sea-Dweller

Hi guys,
I was toying around with my new DLSR and managed to snap some pics of the old Sea-Dweller.
It's still one of my favourite sport models.

Finally you are posting again Danny haha, we missed you.
The SD is by far my fav and its coming out from the box soon for me to wear.
Been sitting in the bank since its 1st ever service from Jan of this yr.

No lah, but the 550D is a great piece of equipment from Canon. The new specs made it worthwhile to upgrade from the aging 400D that I was using.

You should let the poor watch out from the bank vault. Watches are meant to be worn especially the Sea-Dweller. It may just rust if you leave it too long in the bank  ;).

The sea dweller is the only s ports Rolex model I've never owned..Perhaps its time :Cheers:

I like the polish on the sides of the links and the overall feeling of strength.  The expansion link, like my Sub, is a feature I will likely not use since I generally only find myself diving in the warmer waters where a wetsuit is not needed.

This is a nice Sea-Dweller, but i still prefer the new DeepSea cos the case is larger.  :)

The DSSD is massive with a 44mm case and is certainly the preferred choice for fans of large watches. Not to mention that it comes with a price tag that matches the new oversized case.
The classic SD is lighter on the wrist as well as on the wallet.  ;D

Definitely heavy on the wallet. Especially for crazy fans who bought it at the watch's peak selling period. Buying it now to keep as a collection would be more worth it in my opinion. Personally i would spend the amount on a SS Daytona.
