I had a Remora, and then a Remora II. Both were really nice watches, but I decided I didn't really want a micro brand in the collection so I got rid of them. And then Steve shows pics of the new 42 mm Moray, and I think maybe I want a Benarus again:

A lot of Panerai vibe but without the Panerai size. Plus it has a Luminor style case which I like (the Radiomir lugs look too flimsy to me) without the huge crown guard, which is really too much for me.
All brushed, decent bracelet (although the clasp looks crappy), 9015 inside...
But I would probably just end up flipping it again!

Same here! First was a Remora, then sold. Next came the Moray, then sold.
Between the 2, I preferred the Moray. At 44mm it fits well on my smallish wrist (6.3 inches).
I agree that there is a high chance you'll flip it. Hence, the 44mm may be the wiser choice.

Do you think the 44 mm will be easier to flip?

In my opinion, yes. My Remora (42mm) took a longer time to sell.
Also, a 2mm difference may not be significant given the chunkiness of the case.
