Title: Seiko 5 40th Anniversary Diver Ti SKZ205K1

Hi all,

Just got this and thought I'd share it out as we do not often see this around...

Its Seiko's celebration of their 5 series (1963-2003) 40 years, first came out in 2003 with the SS version limited to 2003 pieces and this titanium version produced in 2005 also limited to 2005 pieces. Unfortunately the shop has lost the box as this piece apparently has been lying there since 2005 or so. I only got the guarantee card, a manual and the tag. But as compensation seller did cut the price more so no complains.

Runs on the ever dependable 7s36 automatic movement, titanium case and bracelet, diameter 44mm, domed sapphire crystal, carbon fibre dial, tungsten bezel and divers extension similar to the MM...altogether a cool watch...

40th anniversary in 2003. So it should have a 50th anniversary issue this year then?

Yes for the SS version which i gather is the anniversary celebration for Seiko 5...whereas the 2005 titanium version is to celebrate the divers anniversary...i read somewhere...

Thanks...yeah the carbon fibre do add a bit of dimension to the dial...

Woww!! Thats cool..really hope Seiko will produce exactly that model. Sure I get one
