Hi Guys,

I just registered but have been a silent reader for yonks. I like watches, but sadly, no funds to buy the watches i like. Am currently working in KL along Jalan Sultan Ismail.

Currently i have an old, maybe vintage longiness and a jorg gray as may daily beater (Obama wears this occasionally i think).

Watches i'd like to own include a Graham Swordfish Booster Black, Seiko Tuna Can SBBN015 (i used to be a diver) and a Rolex "Hulk".

Thanks!.

Hi Jakes,
Welcome to Malaysia Watch Forum. Glad that you decided to break your "silence" and sign up as a member.
It will be interesting to hear more of your diving experience. Is it essential to have a good submersible timepiece to accompany you on a dive?

Thanks engkow and danny,

Well, i used to dive quite a bit a looong time ago and at that time, i was still pretty ignorant about watches. At that time, i used those wallet sized blue dive comps with a casio g-shock, and no, it wasnt a frogman, just some old metal g-shock which i lost during one of my overseas trip to compete in a paintball competition.

Jakes, welcome to the forum and enjoy your stay. You might find that you might go from Longines to AP ROOs in no time........whether that is a good thing is another matter altogether... ::) ::)

Cheers.
