thank you guys, i'm still newbie. hope i can learn from you all. indeed i think collect watch as hobby is lot more cheaper than fast cars or superbikes, at least for a beginner like me.
saw 1 preowned poljot aviator for sale. need to pay a visit to the owner. but this one if i manage to buy need to "sorok" fr wife la. she keep on telling that i only have 2 hands, what for to buy more watch.
hehehhe

Watches r cheaper than superbikes or sport cars (or even satria or perdana (poor man sports car) ). however, watches r quite substantial too if u r too deep in :)
-
watches can last for years and pass down to generations, fast cars (most of it) can't.

thx for sharing

Your Modaine reminded me the train stations from Switzerland to Austria.... all station clocks there are Modaine.

You definitely need to balance up on your Ball(s) :Jumping: :Jumping: An Engineer ii or Hydrocarbon could make a nice next addition, although they now have another 125th Anniv rose gold classic piece that trudges into Rolex's price domain.
I like Mondaine too, especially the 6-second delay second-hand-jump version like the Mondaine railway clocks. That is one unique piece
