Hi,

Need some opinions from you all the experts,

I am thinking of my next purchase wud be tag heuer caliber 5 waj2110.

Is this watch reliable?
Is the price worth the movement?
I am looking at preloved one, what is the decent price for preloved one?
Any known issue for this watch?

I know nothng bout this watch, except i like the look. Hope can give your opinion. Thanks MWF!

"The price point is very high given that the Calibre 5 movement inside is essentially a Tag Heuer decorated version of the ETA 2824 which can be found in dive watches for a fifth of the 500m’s asking price"

ETA 2824 is a proven workhorse and nothing wrong about this movement

as for price point, you be your own judge

I don't have any real problems with the ETA 2824 at that price point. Someone correct me if I am wrong but I think you will need to pay 25-30% more for a new Omega Seamaster with an in-house movement. A lot more even if you buy a used Rolex Submariner in good condition.

TAG Heuer has some good models in it's product line. How much it's "worth" is really up to the buyer.

I'd get one myself if I wasn't up to my gills in Divers.
YMMV
