Definition of TEGIMENT® and the black hard coating
The stainless steel case hardened using TEGIMENT® technology provides extremely effective protection from scratches on the case surface. To achieve this, we do not apply any coatings of foreign materials; rather, the surface of the stainless steel itself is hardened in a special process. In turn, the black, hard coating is applied to the U1000 S model, for example, by physical vapor deposition (PVD). This high-quality, black, hard coating is achieved only in combination with TEGIMENT technology

Ok here we go with the photo;-

My 1st impression to Sinn U1 SDR tegimented is wow this babe is heavier than my daily beater sub 16610, despite Sub c/w S/S bracelet and U1 c/w rubber strap. Both U1 and sub are using the same screw in crown system.

Aesthetically compare to Sub and MM
