Title: Watch Spotting : What the Rich & Famous are wearing.
Post by: terrenceterrence on March 19, 2010, 08:10:56 PM: Was reading The Star weekend footie pullout today and somehow was drawn to Maurinho's DSSD and Ronaldo's Hublot.

Not that hard to dismiss since it's so prominent.

so I was wondering anyone spotted any nice pieces on the wirst of the R&F and also movies:

let me start the ball rolling:

1. Maurinho - DSSD (Beckham also is spotted wearing one on many occasion)
2. Ronaldo - Hublot BB
3. Daniel Wu - IWC BP (in Overheard)
4. Ekin Cheng & Jordan Chan - (Young & Dangerous) Daytona Black and White dial
5. Jan Lamb - Sub Date

Think i have too much time on my hands.

Btw how about the YTL ceo (forgot the name) whose passion for watches make way for the event "A journey through time"

He could be jolly well telling the truth (unless there is a way to prove he was lying). If ,say, Francis Yeoh wore a replica, you would think he's wearing a real rather fake even if it looks fake.

Saw in todays Straits Times (SG and not the local NST), a pic showing Kelatan Sultan on his hospital bed with a hand on his shoulder. On the unknown person's wrist an unmistakable octagonal bezel-oversize-chrono pushers; a AP ROO.

Also an article on Mukhriz Mahadthir... on his wrist a white dialed Daytona.

not to say i am not thankful to them for this act of kindness but the irony of it is just amazing...

4) Chan kong choy : Richard mille RM010 or RM005 rose gold

8) Sultan selangor : PANERAI 47mm .. i suppose a 1950

you can clearly see the watch on his right hand and also the thumbnail buckle too in the movie
