any opinion on this.....

One of the most reasonably priced JLC around but it's a tad too small if you're used to slightly bigger watches. Worth buying.
-
Well at least its bigger than the standard Reverso.
For some reason the squadra is not my cup of tea.
I would rather get the normal Reverso.
How bout the Grand Reverso chiew?
-
its a sporty version of classic looking reverso....
personally i like it actually...
-
I personally prefer the classic model ;)
but it's really depend, better try it out because not everyone can "handle" the square case nicely, like me i can't :'(
-
nv heard bout any negative feedback bout JLC movement
-
Then maybe you havent meet someone with an IWC MarkXII haha...

-

-
No all ;D I have used 2 JLC movement before and both gave me not so pleasant experience :HammerHead:
anywhere, maybe I just being unlucky one :(
-
have tried it numerous time and love it so now is to see opinion from allresident sifus and save money to buy loh XD
-
You get all diff people's opinion as much as you want, to me its good perspective from diff sides.
But end of the day just buy what you really like and wht makes u happy.

non complicated movement should b ok...
complicated movement, how many been made? tested for how long? so i wasnt surprise that watches with complicated movement got problem....
yes JLC is master for movement.... but reliability can only be proven by time....
-
I kind of like this one and it is a more reasonably priced JLC watch with GMT function. If not because I have not gotten my Port Auto and/or Panerai, I may consider this one.
-
How bout their "master" series?
Should be better?

thats true. some times it doesn't matter much bout how much u pay for a watch, it will still giving u problems. i'd seen 2 Patek with their crown losen and yesterday i saw this lange with moldy dial  not 1 but 2..another guy also have the same problem

OMG thats bad....well i think stuff like this cant be avoided since its handmade.
Thats when the after sales service comes in....and true test of how good the manufacturer treats its customers.
BTW this is 1st time i seen this on a ALS.
Patek failure seen it few times online where the crown completely came off.

malaysia climate is very extreme.... hot n super humid compare to europe....
so this lead to alot of problem... u will sweat alot, and alot of moist in the air....
unless u r wearing divers.... when moist get into your watches....
u will see the oxidation on the dial (silver, brass, paint, gold....), hands (blued steel, paint...), gasket (rubber, silicon)...
and the salty sweat from human... can contains various chemical.... this can even harm the st steel....
take a look at those old rolex.... look at the bracelet and case back....
the the oil in hot climate and wet... will hv different life span...
and mechanical watch is human made.... by hand.... even a master control who run through a 1000 hours test also may still got problem....
then dont expect a solid gold case harder than st one.... st can be harder than those harden st...
how many watches pass through shock, anti magnetic, water resistant test before the sell?
