Quartz is ok.. cause the gap of price between these 2 are kinda huge as well... :)

Looks like u more or less certain u r buying Luminox. U just needed a slight push to buy Luminox :)

Basically the reason that pushes me towards luminox = price and the ruggedness.. means i can wear it in any condition.. for Ball.. if scratch and all... sakit hati.. :) aeahhahha

G-shock suits ur needs as well.

go for ball, before its price increased again. get the fireman series which is cheaper but very well built.

no offence... to me
luminox Vs Ball
= Proton Vs Toyota
because both are very different watch, different design different price category, different market positioning basically...
so its not hard to choose then...
only thing similar is both using h3 gas tube for night readability.... even both with h3.... most new ball watches is brighter now....
so if price is the concern then luminox...
so if design is the concern just choose what u like...
so if u worry of bang n scratch i think both is ok to bang n scratch, i think both watches r tough... ball shock resistant is better.... and scratch can be polished actually.... but then quartz watch doesnt not need shock resistant... because u can replace whole movement cheaply! :Laughing_on_floor:
so if u want a mechanical watch then choose ball....
my opinion is if u set your price point and u just want a watch to wear for tough condition.... i mean the luminox price range then -
u should compare luminox with watches like traser, UZI....
above watches hv similar design....
ball is really better in alll aspect compare to luminox.... and its much more expensive now....

Cant go wrong with a Timex either.
