Saw this tread on the Watchuseek watch forum and I though it would be nice to appreciate how MWF members keep/display their watches. So to start the first posting, here's mine:

Very good idea, one can view most collection in a box or a few boxes. Need not just view the one watch of the day.
But then again no more excitement if reveal everything at one go.

Cheers

reminds me of how the terminator stores all his AP's by just chucking them all in a drawer.

I think beside that 12 pieces in the box, he only have another Blancpain FF, presumably on his wrist.
JPSP is in the idea of 1 brand 1 watch (highest salute for the discipline), as he had previously mentioned in

I really like the wallnut case shown above? Any tips as to where to buy it? Watch cases seem so few and far between here especially quality ones. Congrats to all above, I hope I can boast a collection like thjose one day - most impressive!

oh i was surfing a US watch forum and saw someone selling watch boxes (walnut, cherrywood and etc). got a friend to help pay for it and he brought it with him when he visited Singapore. I paid S$80 for it. The pillows and interior have turned yellowish and i'm considering asking a local chap to change the inner velvet to brown/black.

Hi there DolCeAddicT. Thanks. I got entire set-up from a watch shop in Bangsar Village 1 (am I right to assume that I can't name names here?) The cost was about 4K all in (i.e. display case + 8 watch winders). Wasteful I know but the poison has set in .... ;D

The watch in white winder is Zenith Stratos? Great choice.
-
Sharp eyes you have there bro. ;D Yup, it is indeed the Stratos Striking 10th. Loving it so far. Thanks for the compliment.

Felix Baumgartner (hope I spell him right) made it very popular. The 1/10th large second hand turn so fast! Never get bored looking at it, no matter how many times.
Do you use the chrono function often?
-
@Yikkie, nice collection. Very interested on your display case. Made it/designed it yourself?
-
@Bezelnut: I don't really use the chrono function often but I do like to see the second hand flying around the dial. ;D
@Meoramri: Thanks bro. The display is custom...but initially custom made as a tie rack! ;D. The size seems to be perfect for storing watches.
-
@Dcpillai... Nothing outrageous about your setup. I believe justified seeing that your collection of moonphases would be a hassle to set once it stops... A very nice setup.
Lack of fund for such setups is one of the reason why I avoid complicated watches... lol

Fantastic 1 watch 1 brand collection. Great keep it that way JPSP .. tony
