Just sharing a simple makeover I did on my newest addition in my AP stable(apologies for the crappy iPhone pictures)
Replaced the stock rubber strap with an OEM AP Grand Prix Alcantara leather strap

The red trims perfectly matched the red accents of the sub dial hands

Overall, I am having a lot of fun with this fella
Not too big, not too small for my 8 inch wrist.
Thanks for looking

A cracking watch but tell me how easy is the alacantara to maintain - it's almost suede like correct? I didn't realise AP offered this..

The inspiration came from the AP ROO Grand Prix Carbon

You are correct. The Alcantara leather is similar to a suede except the Alcantara is more supple, durable, lighter and doesn't stain black on the wrist in the presence of sweat.

always like their carbon case from AP, nice match strap and especially with your carrera S meter

THANK YOU
to those who wish to get their 1st or 2nd AP ROO, try to get any of the models with forged carbon casing as I read somewhere that AP plans to discontinue them together with the rubberclads (rubber bezel)

I don't think FC will be discontinued.
There's an interview with the new AP CEO and according to him, FC is not going anywhere.
Could not find the link to that interview.
It's on timezone
