Hi Watchnewby...can you post your oris big crown..is it a pointer date ? The one i saw at ebay, got a 18k bezel and quite expensive...

my only ORIS watch, a wrist alarm bought new in late 1980's and still in mint condition..

Hi Jos2012...that was indeed a magnificent watch...very unique seeing the watch alarm buzzing without using any battery but only mechanism. I have only one similar to this and the brand is Girrard Perregaux...any chance of sXXXXng ?

Not really expensive. Depends on the size, 36mm ranges RM1.9K - RM2.5K aftermarket price, while the 40mm will be slightly expensive, ranges RM2.5K - RM3.8K aftermarket price. Not sure how much is a new one but was told in the tune of RM5K.
Will find the time to take the picture of the Big Crown and post here.

Wow, nice Oris with a real vintage feel to it. Sure is a far cry from the sports ORISs we see today..
