Got this over at TZ... the Zenith Stratos have always been seen as the spiritual successor of the Rainbow.
The previous Stratos have the same movement as the Rainbow Flyback.
Besides that, nothing is carried over from the Rainbow design wise... until now.

This new Stratos (I will be calling it Zenith Stratos Rainbow) carries with it the design element that made the original so popular.
The Red accents on the bezel. Bigger red chrono running seconds and chrono counter hands.
The size I suspect will remain at 45.5mm which is not what most wrist will be able to handle.
What a shame. If it's at 42mm... I am on it... sigh...
Even the complaints about the overlapping subdials have been rectified.
Just too bad on the sizing though...

Darn.. for a second there, I thought you bought the watch...
Looks really colourful to me but the size rules it out completely for me.

Seriously now days its really hard to get hold the old rainbow at the fair price. There one sold on Ebay once but the price was on the high side. :o
Really keen on getting it to accompany my tutima nato chornograph. Does the local ad have it in stock already?
