Title: Fake / replica watches ruined the genuine watches' prestige

Hello everyone. Happy Chinese new year.

As everyone would notice there's been a lot of fakes floating around in the market, and I'm on numerous occasion felt its our government lack of enforcement had resulted in the circumstances that we faces now.

As per example I've been told of a chap who posted in his fb of expensive watches which is counterfeit, as u can see in the image,

Such cases saddened me deeply as people who aren't in the know would be thwarted by buying original watches if they'd believed that Is the real ones (not to say overpriced declared value too)

What do you think we as community can do to thwart such counterfeit?

how can u tell from the pic that it's a fake?
pic quality isnt that good... just curious

First of all, the original ones cost 15k, how the fella inflate to such value is weird at best.
Secondly one of the chap seen the watch, so we have determine that it's replica.

But you are missing the point here, it's more about people having fakes and declaring it original, and inflate the value to such mind boggling proportions. Doesn't that inflame you,i might ask?

At 15k for a genuine one. I would get at least 20 pieces.  :laugh:
It is a fake, just look at the date wheel, the thickness of the numerals and the bezel as well.  :thumbsdown:
