1. Is it true that for digital watches, the new types got power saving feature?

2. If  a new digital watch use lithium battery that comes with the watch. How long can the battery last under normal use?

I own a solar power watch that has the power saving features. I doubt the same feature exist for batt operated watch unless it has some sensor built to it.

Normally a batt watch lasts a few years. Some about 7-8 or even 10 years  as advertised. it depends on the watch and batt used.
