Hello MWF-mers,
I have for sale an Omega Speedmaster Moonphase ref. 3876.50.31. This is the latest 3D moonphase with front sapphire crystal with rear sapphire crystal display back showing the rhodium plated Cal 1866 Lemania movement with rings around the 3 counters, unlike the earlier Moonwatch models with acrylic not sapphire crystal, no rings round the 3 counters, no rhodium plated movement, costing much lower.
This watch is running with an Omega cal. 1866 based on Nouvelle Lemania 1884, 21,600 vph, 48 hr PR, it is a beautifully finished rhodium movement.

This watch was bought from a fellow forumer. According to him;
- It's accuracy was inconsistent deviating from +10 secs/day to +30secs/day.
(I have never timed my watches down to seconds thus it's not really an issue for me. Potential buyer may test it out, I could learn a thing or two.)
- Start/stop/reset is smooth although a bit stiff to activate.
(Works like a charm for me, again potential buyers could test it out.)
The watch comes with a complete set of boxes and papers however its leather is peeling off. This sale comes with an Omega deployment buckle, but due to the fear that Omega buckle may get scratched due to use, I decided to wear it with a Hirsch leather attached to the third-party buckle. I only wear the watch occasionally as I use the beaters for work. I would rate the condition at tip-top, potential buyers may exercise due diligence. The original strap is still with me (broken) and I could pass it to the owner if desired.
Reason for selling? The look is wearing thin on me, and of course an upgrade is on the way if this goes. My asking price is SOLD only. I'm not exactly looking for trades but who knows? Kindly PM me for dealing.
Thank you for reading.
Pictures are shamelessly borrowed from ex-owner with permission. I do not have a camera nor good photography skills, hope that explains.
