Title: G. Croft and Co fob watch - any ideas?

hey,

have had this watch floating around for quite some time - was my grandfathers and handed to me.

any ideas on what year this was made and any other info would be great?

I saw that one, mines silver (sorry photos are terrible).  Does anyone know the approx date for this one based on the serial number?

Are these rare watches?  Can't seem to find many of them on the net?

You need to show us the movement for us to tell. Also the hallmarks(stamping on the lid like the 1st photo) will also give us some clue but we need a better photo.

I'm afraid I can't be of any help without those.
