Greetings to all forum members. I am interested in collaborating with Steinhart in making a limited edition run watch that is only available for Malaysia. Please do shed some light on this post to see if anyone is interested and who has the will to help so we can come up with a team in achieving our goals. Please comment below if you are interested.

Thanks for interest but we need more people to join and like i say come up with a team for this project. I believe that currently there is a project ongoing with Lum-Tec. For me, I am not into that particular watch and it was too heavy on the price. I am thinking within RM 2000. The price of that lum tec is that higher mainly due to its custom case design and all. For this project, I am hoping to make use of their current line up but with a few tweaks here and there so to keep the price low.

They make great Fliegers IMHO. A clean Flieger style dial and a customized MWF caseback would be nice.

This project is NOT in any way affiliated with MWF.
This is NOT a MWF project.
We already have one in progress.
That said it is always interesting for someone to undertake a project like this and best of luck.

Yes, I do know that currently MWF has our first collaboration with Lum-Tec and the project is completing soon. I just would like to have another unofficial watch, if there is enough interest from the member. However, is it okay for us to have the MWF marking at the caseback or dial ?

As there is no mods involved and we are still finishing out 1st project watch for the members.
Maybe a later time.

Update: Guys, as you can see. We are not allowed to have MWF markings on this project. Please do understand this and we shall come up with a design that signify it as a limited run for Malaysian. In order to achieve so, we need someone who is good in photoshop. :Praying:
Another note: we need at least a a substantial people of interest to start this project with Steinhart. Among the interested number of people, there will be people who will be in the team involved in the design and communication between the group and Steinhart. Nevertheless, all who are interested will be informed of every design cue and pricing throughout the project. A group will be started in Facebook after we acquire a certain number of people. Progess of the project will be posted on both Facebook Group and here in the forum.

On your question, I am still not sure. But based on the run of the TSF limited edition, there is only 44 pieces so I presume that we need to reach that number.

Yes, I agree, most probably to get it below RM 2,000. With weaker Euros, I do hope it is possible. Not that I am black heart, hope that Malaysia Ringgit get stronger while the euros get weaker. ::)

I support this thread to the max, however I likely will not be in.
Already an owner of a Steinhart Nav B-Uhr Russian Special Edition, so am not planning to get another Steinhart for some time. My say is the quality is very good and indeed satisfying to own something that is unique and come with a limited quantity.
Just to share this photo with you guys what to expect in custom-made edition from Steinhart.

I read the WUS post sometime ago, so it will be hard to back track. The best I think is to get in touch with Steinhart team to understand their requirement before kickstart everything, ie, minimum price, design-movement compatability, MoQ....

I also prefer 44mm... also I fall in love with the nato strap too... maybe too much to ask but if its a white dial, it is even better.. reason.. coz all my watch is black dial :'(

This is not an official MWF project watch.
I am correcting the tittle of the thread to avoid confusion.
But kudos to the thread started for taking on such a project.
MWF mods have done it and i can tell you it is NOT easy.
