Hi all,
I recently saw my boss (lady) wearing a very weird watch...
However, wasn't able to see what brand it was and couldn't get much info from internet as well..
From what I know, the watch is somewhat combination of square, round and rectangular (not fully round, not fully square not fully rectangular), with the markers all jumbled up, with some size of the numbers bigger, some smaller, and doesn't goes in the order of 1 - 12... its just all mixed up... It has 2 hands, for hour and minute...
Any idea on what watch could it be?
From the status of my boss, shouldn't be a cheap watch I guess...
-
franck muller crazy hours?
-
my same guess too..
movt is an ETA ebauche....
just jumbling of the hour markers and tweaking of movement
-
Yes yess..
its franck muller...
lol... is the watch expensive?
wat's d retail price of the watch? bz body abit.. lol
-
google for the answer lor
-
Wow... USD17.4K.. :o :o :o
Just wondering, how do we read the time?
-
Read the hour hand first then only the minute.
-
if u look carefully at the dial from the 1 marker to 2 to 3, etc, they are all evenly spaced.. so all they need to do is to make the hour hand move by the same number of markers each time..
its a very simple visual trick
-
IMHO its a way overpriced watch...to dazzle the simple minded and those who chase after latest fads amongst social circles.
-
Means, both the hour and minute hands will jump according to the time?
Means, if its 8 o'clock, the hour hand is facing up (12 for normal watches) and the minute is facing 7 (for normal watches)?
And when its 9 o'clock, the hour hand jumps to 4 (for normal watches)?...
complicated...

Well, that's y she's the BOSS... and im not?
-
btw, the attention over the crazy hours watch amongst the social circles is long over. Its now considered a has been watch or very 'passe'
FM is very rarely on the radar of WIS, more of Hollywood social circles
Except for their 1 or 2 top complications by Mr Golay e.g. Aeternitas at a price where there are many other Manufactures with better alternatives, most of their lower end are ETA based.
Google and read abt FM's 'infamous story that rocked the horological world'

Yes, uncle google told me that.
-
So if you got USD 17k in your pocket, you will buy;-
1. - FM Crazy hour ( i really doubt Crazy hour is ard 17k only , thought is 25k++ USD??)
2. - Pam 213
3. - None of the above
-
3. - None of the above
-
3. None of the above..
I'd get a Richard Lange or a pre-owned FPJ
-
Totally, none of the above...
-
None of the above for me as well...
-
Anything more than 5k usd is already a big sum to spent on a watch for me, let alone 15k for the Panerai .
None of the above for me as well
-
3. None of the above
