Title: Tang buckle and deployment clasp
Post by: lowengen on October 20, 2012, 06:44:49 AM
Hi all,
Just wondering, is it possible for me to change my watch strap from tang buckle to deployment clasp?
Plan to change my Ball's buckle.... Any idea where can I do it and roughly how much? Prefer original Ball's....
And, do I need to change the whole strap or just the buckles?
Thanks all.

Hello bro,
there are many "brandless"deployment clasp in the market. just search on the web!  :D :D \

Price depends on manufacture and quality. If you want an original Ball deployment, maybe need to check the agent. All you need is to get the correct size. Normally that's the size of the existing buckle on your watch. If your watch lug width is 20mm, chances are the buckle is 18mm wide. So you need to get deploymnet clasp to fit 18mm. Just an example. You need to measure yourself. Gud luck!  ;)

Thanks for info.... Means I don't have to change the whole strap, but just the buckle?

Buy a third party deployment buckle. Buying it original from the manufacturer is expensive as you found out, unless you want the logo on the clasp.

You can mail order or shop around in KL. I know several shops in Singapore that definitely sells them.

Bro.....i  think rm350 is ok for an original branded deployment clasp. believe me, if you get a normal deployment clasp now, later u will still want to change to an original. you will end up paying more....better just get the original now.... ;D

God bless......

Actually, I kinda agree.... Don't mind paying RM350, but the wait of 1 month is killing....
