Title: Orient Star 300m Saturation Diver Sighted today
Post by: danny on January 05, 2010, 12:21:37 PM
Saw this baby today at a watch shop in Sungei Wang Plaza. It's a Japan Domestic Model, brought in specially by the shop. I've previously posted a review of the orange dial version here. (http://tamhk.com/mwf/index.php/topic,9.0.html)

Anyone interested in this watch can PM me for the name of the shop.

The black bezel with a hint of gold looks cool.. Btw, wat the difference between orient and orient star? Is there a huge difference between the 2 versions like seiko vs prospex vs GS

From what the shop told me, difference between Orient and Orient Star is the dial is also made in Japan + better finishing on the movt.
Price is not such a HUGE diff between Seiko and GS. That would be the Royal Orient i believe but i havent seen any yet in Msia.

When i compare a same model (95% identical) Orient and Orient Star the diff in the movt finishing i dont find too much, just more polished parts.
But then again the diff is just a few hundred.
