The one at home is broken and gives me back pain after 20mins sitting on it.
I work from home sometimes now and need a ergo chair.
I first saw the Herman Miller Sayl chair below.
It may look simple but damn its comfortable to sit in :P
And also the cheapest Herman Miller chair, they really do make nice stuff!

Saw the price on the official website thought max rm300-500 more expensive here. Well i was dead wrong >:(, its 120% more expensive in Malaysia :Scolding:
So, i need something not too fancy, just comfortable and ergo enough for my room.
Any idea guys?
Oh how i would love an Eames chair but that will cost me a brand new Grand Seiko at least :o, maybe some day.
Come on throw some ideas out will ya...and where to get in the Klang Valley.

IKEA comes to mind. They have a wide selection. Modern / contemporary designs.

Get a big swiss ball and sit on it. it is good for ur back as it activates ur spine throughout the day. good ones about rm200.
-
Yeah Swiss ball, great to train your core muscles
Although it does not have that cool factor u are looking for.

SM,
Thanks! Will speak more to you this weekend. Forgot your are in the industry.
But i was just amazed at the 120% more price difference!
I would love the Aeron, but i think its overkill now...wait til i get to become GM hehe....
Would love to hear you alternatives.
-
If around rm300~500, then it is worth buying... good chairs around that price and more
-
LOL as with everything which is "well designed" and "good quality" and "built to last".
Think 7x-10x more for the cheapest model!
But then again, i havent been doing much research and trying out chairs much.
A lot just "looks" good/well designed. I have one at home. Wasnt really that comfortable. Good enough. At least it lasted me i think 5-7yrs now.

I bought mine from jj chairs maluri
A local manufacturer...
Made there, next shop...
-
Thanks, let me go research a bit.
-
Damn...after testing out the Aeron chair for a good 30mins, everything else seems....well...meh...
It even has a place in the Museum of Modern Art.
