Over indulge in gambling gonna destroy u, things and ppl around u. Why he didn't over indulge himself in watch collection instead of gambling? it is less costly ;)

No, I have nothing to do with them.

These are the talks among the 'hong-kar' (same trader). Many left their watches for sales on consignment (no proper documentations). incurred big losses.

Most keng chau one is last 2 years chinese new year.. a man lost RM 21million in 2 days. equivalent to RM 437,500 in one hour.

When Party Pas said something againts casino, chinese society will make a lots of noise.

these chinese politician only wants thier pic come out on press, gain political capital.

if you think rationaly, no doubt casino brings income to our country, but it also harm our country a lot.

indeed, genting is actually a big cash cow when government needs money.

when i see how these chinese youngsters, uncles and aunties gamble like no tomorrow,

i feel so sorry to thier parents and children, and i feel so fortunate that i dont have family members like them.

dear fellow chinese friends, "gamble is not our culture".

Well the 'Hong Kar' shouldnt worry and i dont think they are so foolish to let consign without proof of ownership and more so to a gambling man! And if liquidation occurs the chetty's cant attach consigned items. What any consignor should do is to get a court order immediately to stop any attempt to loot the sinking ship. So anyone who did can sleep better.

i think nlp dont take consignment ! this is 'chinaman' owned shop! pls gossip bout their background!

'hong kar' will only sell to them when they need cash... so some small shop sometimes got the expensive watch will push it shops in BTS n SG Wang... but i heard they only deal with cash!

i only pity the staffs.... they wont get their salary... i hope they get some watches... and sell it to me cheap cheap!

Actually if a company goes under the staff need not worry too they can even get thier bonus for christmas and get the remaining watches (one only) as golden handshake too.

Since staff pay is first priority payout in bankruptcy. On an interesting side story, thats why bankrupt wall street top personell still come to Sg. to buy high end watches and give tips too say Sg 40k for AP royal oak offshore they tip somemore to the sales men for good service more for pretty sales girls too! The quantum just put hand in pocket then take out loose cash. My friend (retired) from top level managment of one of the biggest banks in Am told me sometime the loose change can be in 1k Sg (I think hes pulling my leg) and they buy watches of high caliber like we go for teh tarik at mamak, one day two cups, well they go to tourneau after meeting in morning during lunch and get one or two too (this I think is probable).

So for the staff again can sleep even better and do celebrate christmas wholly too.Cheers.
