Title: Ball fireman racer DLC or ORIS TT1 or Tissot Seastar or ???

Hi everyone,

i have found my desired watch. but i still dont know which one to choose. this is for my wedding gift and here are my findings below:

ORIS TT1 day date.

im still headache which one to choose. all of my findings are within my budget, (less than RM3500) and these 3 have pros and cons.

I would prefer the Ball fireman but a bit turn off because of the black rubber strap. I googled to find 3rd party strap (i like bezel) but fail to find any. most of the shops dont recommend steel bezel because the case is black and it wont match.

Then i found alternative watches , ORIS TT1 and tissot Seastar. both looks OK on my wrist but still cant make decision.

I welcome any valuable suggestion and advice. Thanks MWF!

Go for the Ball for night readability and good time keeper.For the steel PVD watch band go to 'Globalwatchband.com' and pickup your choice!

Now it purely on aesthethic evaluation rather than technical performance or commercial evaluation.

For a wedding gift, it is better something that shining/glittering. It look nicer. Subdued color are more "tactical" look.
Oris or even the Tissot (refering to your selection) is better than the Ball eventhough Tissot have a black strap but the case are not.
After all this will not be your last watch.

If this is your everyday watch , go for the Oris . It can also be a dress watch since its not too big... :Confused:  fr tony ...Just my opinion..

Since u put Oris @ the 1st place, then i think it'll be yr choice ;D For me, I'll go for seastar, though it heavier & thicker  :Cheers:

I have handled this tissot seamonster recently. Not too sure its the same model....

The one I viewed last couple of days has the helium valve and the wr is 300m?
Its housed the 2824-2. You be surprised at the price after discount.

It has a solid back and basically make a great tool watch.

Hi all,

After considering all inputs here, finally I bought the ORIS TT1. I spent 2 hours in the shop just to choose which one between these 3 selections.

Ramlan - thanks for ur sincere suggestions. If i go for technical movement rather than aesthetic , definitely i will choose ball.

Tonykpk & Glampyre - bought the ORIS TT1 :)

nanaluvu & Kenick & shamtv2555 - yeah, i think if i have extra money, i get the seastar for casual wear.

cloud7 - i believe ball ohio is totally out of my budget.

David - Yes, it has helium valve and 300m as u mentioned.
